Meet Your Captains

	Captain Gavin Gavin was born and raised in Barbados, where he spent his childhood surfing, spearfishing, and fishing. An avid bluewater spearfisherman, he has traveled the world in pursuit of his passion. His experience includes working as a mate aboard the renowned 96′ sportfisher 3 Amigos, chasing sailfish and marlin in Costa Rica, as well as targeting wahoo, snapper, and grouper in Florida and the Bahamas. Gavin’s love for the ocean also led him to a career in the superyacht industry, where he currently serves as a 2nd Officer on a Mediterranean-based yacht. He alternates two-month rotations as captain of Dos Hermanos with his brother, Arron Fernandes, who takes over when Gavin is at sea.

	Captain Arron Fernandes Born and raised in the stunning waters of Barbados, Arron Fernandes has lived a life deeply connected to the sea. A passionate fisherman, spearfisher, and surfer, Arron’s love for the ocean began at an early age, competing in fishing tournaments from the age of five. Renowned for his expertise in wahoo fishing, he has proudly won three prestigious tournaments on the island. With global fishing experience and years spent as a tender captain, his skills are unmatched. Currently serving as an engineer aboard a superyacht, Arron is also the rotational captain and owner of Dos Hermanos, offering unforgettable adventures on the water.
